What to watch on TV tonight: Thursday
DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
Stressed (RTÉ One, 10.15pm)
The final episode of this two-part series looking at the immense stress that Irish people put themselves under at home, in work and in pretty much every other aspect of their lives. Last night, Jennifer O’Connell had a look at the effects of stress on our bodies, minds and overall health, and if anything, it made us all a little bit more stressed out. Tonight, she looks at scientific studies and interventions that have been developed in Ireland to help people tackle stress. Something we all need after the last couple of weeks, no doubt.
My Trans Life (RTÉ 2, 9.30pm)
My Trans Life continues tonight, following a group of transgender Irish people over the course of two years. Last week’s Late Late Show featured Luke and Nicky from the show who spoke very candidly and courageously with Ryan Tubridy about their experiences transitioning and coming out to their families. Tonight’s episode looks at a couple of other issues that the group are facing. Jamie and Harry are struggling to decide about whether they should have a family together, and Nicky voices his regret about not saving his eggs.
Paul O’Grady: For The Love of Dogs – India (TV3, 7.30pm)
We could all do with seeing a few more dogs at this stage of the week, and as usual, Paul O’Grady has got the goods. Tonight’s the final episode of his report from Delhi where he’s been learning about the 400,000 dogs that live on the streets. In this episode, Paul celebrates the Hindu festival Diwali, heads to one of Delhi’s oldest dog shelters and helps a traumatised puppy to socialise for the first time.
Everybody’s talking about… Arrested Development.

In a recent interview with the New York Times, things got ridiculously messy re: the whole Jeffrey Tambor situation. You can read all about it here.
